FINALLY I can share with you some very exciting shots and a cheeky little video that I was lucky enough to work on with the incredible New Look team in the seriously stunning destination of Cadiz, Southern Spain. I thought I would share three of my holiday looks that I would rock on a typical day on holiday.
So I do hope you lurrrve these looks that I styled up and I REALLY hope you enjoy my #StyleOnTour
At The Beach
For the beach, I am all about feeling awesome. After years of flaunting my bod in skimpy bikini's in order to maximise my tanning potential I've finally learnt that it is SO much better to feel great than to worry about the perfect tan.
Swimsuits do just that for me, they're the ultimate in figure hugging and figure flattering beach wear and I can't get enough of them this summer. This little beauty from New Look skims in all the right places, highlighting my smaller waist and sitting comfortably around my curvier bottom. The cut outs I am absolutely digging as they're totally DIY which leaves them with a rough and raw edge to them, the perfect detailing to give my beach look a rock n roll touch.
In the same league as finding the perfect swimsuit comes finding the ultimate denim cut offs. I don't know about you girls but I often find my shorts riding up and becoming rather unflattering around the ole lady-region... But not with these beauties, they're a super soft and stretchy denim which means they mould to your shape perfectly, so abso no unsightly mishaps here! I really love the pinstripe detailing combined with the v-on-trend frayed edges which adds a fashion touch to such a staple summer piece.
Accessorising my beach look the only way I know how... With bad ass accessories of course. These mirrored sunglasses are the perfect finishing touch to add some colour to my look, plus they work wonderfully with my town look that I had planned for a little later that day.
Beach To Town
Beach-to-town dressing is TOUGH! You want to be cool and comfortable, yet super sleek and stylish, but your town look must be super easy to slip on and off whilst at the beach... Not too much to ask ey?
Well fear not, my ultimate beach-to-town piece is the pleated midi skirt, it's seriously light-weight and is perfect to slip on and off at the beach... Winner winner chicken dinner!
I've gone all out on the clash factor with an ice lolly inspired ensemble and teamed my red skirt with a bright yellow ribbed cropped cami, because, why the heck not, you're on holiday after all. And you know what I say about clashing, as long as there is a common theme, as there is here with those bad ass sunglasses, working to tie it all together and toned down by some stacked trainers and a monochrome bag, you can absolutely clash like a pro.
A Night On The Town
And now for an evening on the town, there's something about being on holiday that has me experimenting with hair-dos I wouldn't otherwise try; just like this little braided up-do with gold hoop clips, how awesome!
I honestly cannot get over how great it looks and I am excited to take this hair look with me on every trip from now on. It looks totally intricate but took honestly minutes as the messier the braid the better as you're embellishing with these New Look gold hoops, minimum effort, maximum impact!
Hair done, it's now time to throw on the ultimate party dress with this little nineties style cami dress in the most stunning metallic finishes. The cut is so beautiful as it falls in a rather floaty nature with a wavy hem which is beyond perfect for making shapes on the dance floor. The look is then completely topped off with a simple pair of heeled mules and the ultimate nineties accessory, the leather choker.
So holiday looks from day-to-night nailed, why not watch it all in action in the video New Look and I created together here. It's something I am so proud of and one of the most amazing projects I have ever worked on, so HUGE, MASSIVE, GINORMOUS, thank you to New Look and all of the incredible team.
*This post is in collaboration with New Look but each look was chosen and styled by myself right down to hair & make up. It was an absolute pleasure to work with New Look on such an exciting project... Such BABES!*
