Bonjourno and welcome to what I truly hope will be an all new and successful little series to PBM. Since moving back to Manchester last November, I've fallen in love with my home town more than ever and, if you haven't already noticed, I want you to hear all about it.
It's an incredible city with SO much to offer so I thought every month or perhaps even fortnightly, I will share a little Manchester Gem with you, so PBM can be your go-to, should you ever be in my magical city.
So, the first little Manchester gem that I'd like to introduce you all to is Foundation Coffee, a fairly new coffee house situated in Manchester's Northern Quarter, just a stones throw away from my flat actually.
I regularly frequent Foundation Coffee, laptop in hand to do a spot of work from their seriously vibey haunt. With super cool decor, a hugely spacious area with a whole host of weird and wonderful locals stopping by to use the fast wi-fi, indulge in the protein pancakes or to have their regular cup of the most velvety Flat White you will ever try!
The staff within Foundation are all really young, fun and friendly and the atmosphere hits you as soon as you step foot in the studio-like store.
With a monochromatic palette to the entire place, the metal and wood industrial vibes are complimented wonderfully with the colourful additions of pastries, cakes, salads and more, all of which are gluten free.
It's a really great place to hang out for a coffee with friends, to work from, host a meeting or if you fancy a healthy alternative to your naughty favourite breakfasts. Foundation Coffee is a wonderful addition to Manchester's Northern Quarter and somewhere I'd recommend visiting for your coffee fix... Or your peanut butter slice or gluten free chocolate orange brownie you know, same thing.
