Today whilst slapping on my usual. "I'm working from home, but may pop out at some point" make up look, I decided I'd share it with you lot, just because.
On a day to day basis I do a very similar look, only with my "working from home" it's a lot lighter and a lot more paired down, think my face but a heck load better.
I know a lot of you guys (you lucky sods) will work from home in your jim jams and a bare face, and trust me, I wish I could do the same. But I just cannot concentrate unless I'm showered, fully dressed and feeling a little more like myself, that includes make up and some form of hair do (normally resembling that of a pineapple but hey)
So lets start with the base shall we. After moisturising I will use the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream in the shade Vanilla 02.
This is a SERIOUSLY light-weight formula and one that feels incredible on the skin. Just one teeny tiny pea sized amount on the back of my hand and applied with my fingers, my face is left looking seriously natural but with a gorgeous dewy medium coverage finish. This Gel Cream is very similar to a BB or CC cream in consistency and in finish, but this little baby is my absolute go-to for a very natural low maintenance make up look.
I'll then touch up any blemishes with the wonderful Bare Minerals BARESKIN Concealer and set that in place with the Bare Minerals BARESKIN Perfecting Veil Pressed Powder and it's onto a little bit of bronzer for definition and the base is done.
Even on my down, working from home days I cannot and will not be seen without my cat flicks; but for those low-key days, I'll go for the Benefit They're Real Push-Up Liner in the brown shade. This just allows more of a natural, less severe eye look, especially when teamed with the Benefit They're Real Mascara, again in the brown shade.
These two brown wonders allow my eyes to look awake and more like my usual self, but aren't as heavy as my usual sixties infused eye look.
I'm a HUGE lover of the Benefit They're Real range, the black mascara is my all time fave and the brown a very close runner up.
Once the base and the eyes are all sorted, I'll then pop on some of the Bare Minerals Well-Rested Face & Eye Brightener to give my face an extra, natural glow.
But please don't be fooled, this 'aint no brightener, and I definitely wouldn't pop it under the eyes, just use it as you would a highlighter. It looks beautiful on the cheek bones and down the bridge of the nose, the perfect fresh face to start a new day and get shit done!
