So WAY WAY WAAAAAY back in June last year, I was lucky enough to fly across to Portland, Oregon in America on a very exciting campaign opportunity with Sorel Footwear.
It was one of those pinch me moments and I thought it was about damn time that I shared some of the snaps I took whilst I was out there.
Please forgive me for how long this has taken me to publish; however, I was waiting for the Winter collection that we shot out there to be available over here, just in case anything takes your fancy of course.
Sorel are an awesome brand with a heck load of heritage. The people who wear Sorel are completely and utterly connected to the brand, each with childhood stories of which they are adorning their Sorel's, and still doing the same today, so it was a complete privilege to work with such a well loved brand.
In the height of Portland's summertime and dressed in wool coats, knitted jumpers and thick lined boots, it was an experience to say the least. Creating exciting video content with top stylist Jen Rogien, along with still images for the Sorel social accounts, it was the most surreal and amazing opportunity I've had to date.
To be able to fly across the world, to a place that I may not have visited otherwise and to star in a campaign with a brand such as Sorel, I mean, WHAT THE HECK!?
I had the best five days out there, working with the most incredible team and I'm already dying to get back out to Portland, oh what an incredible city that place is.
And let me tell you... The Sorel SS16 collection is really rather something... Stay tuned for that.
