New York, New York, oh how I miss thee!
I cannot tell you how depressing it is to be back in London; sat in my tiny bedroom listening to the rain fall down onto my window sill... Not a nice feeling at all.
This time last week I was enjoying my last full day in my favourite place in all the world with my favourite person in all the world and in all honesty it feels like a millions years ago already :(

But hey ho, onwards ey?

So this look was pretty much my go-to throughout my trip to New York with this coat and this knit getting some SERIOUS air time throughout the week.
My beloved Papa Puss Shrimps Coat is my absolute pride and joy and the best thing I've ever been lucky enough to treat myself to. I'm not one for splurging usually, but after what I would say was a cracking year, I though I'd treat myself to something pretty special as a well done/ Christmas gift to myself... What do you guys think?
It was the perfect statement piece to take away with me to New York to add some instant sass to every single outfit.

Here I've layered it with my favourite knitwear piece by Genevieve Sweeney, an absolute HERO when it comes to knitwear of which I have a wish list the size of my arm. Her designs are so simple, yet so beautiful with a tomboyish flair which you guys know I love.
This slouchy grey knit with side splits was one of my most worn pieces throughout my time in New York, it's versatility, comfort and warmth leant itself to a number of looks making the cost per wear pretty darn fabulous indeed.

Finishing off the look I opted for some BADASS reflective Designer Sunglasses by Ray Ban from the Sunglasses Shop which were an absolute godsend throughout the American winter sunshine and working perfectly with my metallic Acne Trainers from Shoeaholics. I'm having a bit of a magpie moment this season and seem to be drawn to anything that shines. The metallic sunglasses and trainers duo were a show stopping force to be reckoned with, thats for sure.

So there we have it, one of my looks for trekking round the beautiful city of New York. What do you think?  Make sure you stay tuned for lots more New York goodness and more beautiful images from Heather Hazzan.
