So here we have part 2 of my Great Escape Festival photo diary (check out part 1 here) and boy what a weekend it was.
Starting with Fridays outfit, I went for a bit of seventies vibe with a paisley blouse and crochet top layered underneath, accessorising with tassle boots and my beloved skinny scarf, the perfect outfit for finally checking out some bands!
The weather was so much better on Friday so we headed out for some brunch at good ole Bills before checking out Pins (who I mentioned in my first post) and then going on to see F.U.R.S, The Garden, Slaves & The Vaccines who were all bladdy awesome! A full day of checking out bands meant a lot of drinking was done so Saturday was met with a bit of a hangover... Ooopsy!
Hangover's aside the weather on Saturday was absolutely belting, the sun was shining so we were finally able to go and sit on the beach and soak up some rays. Lying on the pebble beach of Brighton with an ice cream and watching the world go by... Just perfect.
I went for my usual uniform of a button down A- Line skirt with a striped tee and a faux leather gilet over the top.
After our lil chill on the beach we decided to que early early for Slaves and their second set of the weekend which was out of this world crazy! Honestly if you EVER get chance to see Slaves live do NOT let it pass you by, they are honestly something else (I've just booked tickets to see them for the fourth time in November whoop whoop.)
We then hot footed it down the sea front to catch The Cribs before hopping into a taxi to see Blossoms, a band from my neck of the woods who are just unreal! If you're into rock n roll then you HAVE to check them out, plus, they're a bunch of absolute hotties!
We had the BEST weekend in Brighton for The Great Escape Festival, such a great little festival and one I'm already dying to get back to.
A BIG thanks to Missguided for sending me and kitting me out in the worlds best clobber, and to Joey for being my lil music man for the weekend.
