Thank the lords for Vulgar Vintage.

Jacket- c/o Vulgar Vintage, Trousers- Topshop, Boots- ASOS (old similar here)

Alow Alow, please forgive me for my mini hiatus of late. The past few weeks have been completely manic at work and my little blog has had to hit the back burner for a wee while, which makes me incredibly sad indeed. BUT, I would like to say I'm back, until the next manic working week at least, and I'd really like to thank you all for bearing with me throughout this cray cray time, you're all mega!

Sometimes an item of clothing steps into your life that stops you in your tracks. An item that was completely and utterly made for you; well, this jacket is just that. The most perfect seventies jacket completely created with me in mind; the stripes, the patchwork, the mannish shirted shape, the nipped in waist and the mix of denim and corduroy... Just perfection!

This baby is from Vulgar Vintage, a boutique I've featured on my blog before (here), and a boutique that I completely and utterly adore. Vulgar have a real eye for wonderful vintage and I find myself getting lost for hours whilst scouring their boutique on the ASOS Marketplace.

As I've mentioned before I completely love taking vintage gems and mixing them with modern pieces to create a really fun look with a nostalgic touch. So I teamed my new patchwork baby with a pair of leather trousers and black boots to let the jacket of dreams do the talking.

If, like me you fancy getting lost amongst vintage pieces too, then I highly suggest you check out Vulgar Vintage pronto, you will NOT leave disappointed.

x M
