Orla Kiely S/S15

Each season since I started attending fashion week as a "blogger" i've always looked forward to the sound of invites hitting my doormat; but none quite like the sound of the Orla Kiely invite, which this season made an awesome shaker sound as it included a pack of flower seeds... how cute!
Season after season I am transported to some place or another with an incredible set design, story and of course a beautiful collection.

Always true to her 1960s heritage, Orla Kiely never fails to disappoint with her fun, young and seriously sixties looks and this season was certainly no different.
As we arrived at The Vinyl Factory in Soho we were greeted with the most delicious Elderflower drinks and teeny-tiny cupcakes before we were ushered into the show space. An array of empty flower pots lay on the floor in front of a glass screen with four ladies dressed in white overalls sat behind.
As the music began, which might I mention was The Rolling Stones, Orla was already onto a winner with that choice; the ladies began painting the glass with super cute flowers whilst the models filled the stage placing a flower into each individual plant pot... adorable!

If the set design and show choreography wasn't enough, the collection certainly didn't disappoint. The most beautiful colours, prints and cuts filled the stage accesorised with the most incredible leather bags and killer shoes with the Orla Kiely x Clarks footwear range.
As usual it was a fashion week highlight and I left the presentation with a wish-list the size of my arm including the gorgeous hot pink trench coat, mock-croc platforms (in both shades) and the monochrome printed co-ord.
Orla Kiely... I love you!
