So yesterday I headed down to London to attend the Burberry Prorsum London Collections Menswear show, I was chosen through my university to attend with two other girls from my course and ohhhh was I excited!
To me, Burberry is the top dog of British Fashion so to attend their show was an absolute dream come true! Everything from the venue, the atmosphere, the celebrities in attendance and of course the collection (and male models) were all so incredible.
The collection was inspired by artists Ben Nicholson, Lucian Freud and Duncan Grant for the basis of the collection, whilst also paying homage to London itself, with silk scarves printed with maps of the British capital and St Pauls Cathedral embroidered onto knitted jumpers.
Keeping with Burberry's British heritage, the British textile industry was celebrated with a range of rich fabrics, including cashmere, shearling and leather.
Taking the tailoring of the modern day city man and combining it with a country aesthetic, suits were draped with scarves in aztec prints, styled with large carpet bags and a great helping of string vest's, yes, I don't see the connection either but boy did it work!
As you can see from the shots above, the celebrities in attendance were also pretty darn good, with the gorgeous David Gandy and Tinie Tempah, the absolutely stunning (even better in real life) Suki Waterhouse; George Craig, Jamie Campbell Bower, James Righton and the lavly Dermot O'leary.
I had the most amazing time, and felt truly honoured to be in attendance, so THANK YOU Burberry!

PS MASSIVE apologies for my awful moon head, I was clearly very excited!
